nobody

nobody uses this anymore. i've been using twitter a lot more lately. i still think twitter is kinda weird but whatev, i don't mind. borrowing zach's rebel XS this week for the wedding friday. my car is steadily unreliable, so getting to south berwick friday could be a task. i went to newington today to see taylor for her birthday. being completely broke meant i couldn't get her either of the things i wanted to, but it was nice to see her. my car fought me all the way to the mall, including stalling at the tollbooth. luckily she didn't stall when i put her in gear again though, so i made it. on the way home however, i stalled at the death intersection in biddeford less than a mile from my house and couldn't get going again. started pushing the car and 2 guys came over to help. got it into the burger king parking lot and waited a minute or so and she started right up and went like a joy, because my goddamn car loves making a mockery of me. tomorrow is 6 months of taylor tucker love. we might not get to see each other thanks to the impending snowstorm. we'll see. i'll have fun 10MP XS pictures up in time. i like using a camera with a proper lens and real focus. the 18-55 kit lens isn't bad, and the image stabilization is actually really good, but it sucks that canon puts it in the lens' as opposed to the body (as nikon does.) 18mm is reasonably wide for a kit lens, but i would definitely get a 50mm 1.8 prime right off if i had this camera. they're cheap and the extra stops would be so nice. the kit lens is a 3.5 and that's just not good enough for me. i like shooting wide open. happy birthday taylor.
